MAY FAMILY REUNION

May Family Reunion are an avant-garde experimental group led by singer/songwriter Dan Rosen. Originally emerging from Asheville, North Carolina's underground music scene but now based in Florida, Rosen crafts uniquely original songs. A mixture of post-punk, ambient, electronic and folk music, May Family Reunion have their own sound; their own visionary world and ethos. Indescribable until the first listen!

Other members include multi-instrumentalists Lee Wiggins, Denver Bon, Austin Hill and Alex Caruso. For visual design, the May Family works with Russian folk artist Lena Klimenko (Facebook, Instagram). Lena is a brilliant painter living in Moscow who's other-worldly style greatly compliments the groups unique sound. Her work appears on the majority of the May Family album art and page designs. NEW MUSIC

On April 4th, 2023 No Movement Records will release the first album of entirely new material by May Family Reunion since they joined the label. Were You Ever Here At All? is a unique and absorbing blend of abstract alternative pop and ambient post-rock. A short but densely packed LP! This album shows the May Family's ability to dive deep into dark, ambient electronica while striking a balance with accessible songs. In seven tracks, we get seven different stories...playlets about love and connections which are just out of reach.
